Your main missions:
- Assessment and intervention: Analyze the needs of users and develop tailored intervention plans to support individuals and families in vulnerable situations.
- Psychosocial support: Provide appropriate support for each reality, taking into account local resources and cultural specificities.
- Multidisciplinary collaboration: Work in synergy with educators, nurses, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective care.
- Capacity building: Organize and facilitate support activities and workshops aimed at strengthening the autonomy and resilience of participants.
- Prevention and awareness: Participate in health promotion programs to encourage positive changes within local communities.
What we are looking for in you:
- Education and professional membership: Bachelor's degree in social work recognized, and a member in good standing of the OTSTCFQ (an asset).
- Field experience: Minimum of one year in intervention with vulnerable populations.
- Language skills: Advanced proficiency in French and English.
- Personal qualities: Empathy, teamwork spirit, autonomy, and ability to intervene effectively in crisis situations.
- Mobility: Valid driver's license, as travel is necessary to meet the needs of communities.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in remote environments and adjust to unforeseen circumstances with professionalism.
